In episode 99, Akiza uses this card during her Turbo Duel against Andre.

She then tunes 'Dark Verger' with this card in order to Synchro Summon ' Splendid Rose'. Akiza then activates ' Speed Spell - Summon Speeder' to Special Summon 'Dark Verger' from her hand. Trudge then activates ' Climactic Barricade' to prevent all monsters that are Level 4 or below from attacking this turn and inflict 500 damage to Akiza for each Level 4 or below monster she controls during her End Phase. After she Normal Summons this card, she activates its effect to draw a card (' Dark Verger').

In episode 75, Akiza uses this card during her Turbo Duel against Tetsu Trudge.

In the next episode, this card is seen in Akiza's Graveyard when she revives 'Black Rose Dragon' via ' Shining Rebirth'. Akiza then tunes 'Rose Fairy' with this card in order to Synchro Summon ' Black Rose Dragon'. After Akiza Normal Summons this card, she activates its effect to draw a card (' Rose Fairy').
